Candice has been a practitioner in the holistic field for nearly 20 years. Skin care was a natural passion from a young age where she would find herself making homemade masks with ingredients found in the kitchen. She became a licensed esthetician in 2004 and worked at a medical spa as her first esthetics job. She soon realized that she wanted to pursue a path of holistic care, not just for the skin, but for the entire mind, body and soul. she became a registered yoga teacher, certified hypnotherapist, and received her degree in metaphysical sciences and psychology with a minor in business. In order to pursue and master these other areas of interest, she stepped away from skin care altogether for nearly a decade and became deeply committed to a spiritual path. It was her passion to pursue her most authentic and truest self after having grown up in an upbringing that was a bit chaotic to say the least. somewhere inside, her intuition began guiding her. eventually, she uncovered some of her gifts through commitment to studying with spiritual mentors, teachers, healers and participating in retreats, workshops, ceremony and other forms of healing rituals that facilitated the unpeeling of the onion that her yoga practice had guided her towards. her curiosity about what layed underneath the surface drew her deeper and deeper into her self and when she emerged, she knew it was her calling to be of service in a way that could help and assist others along their path of coming home to their True Self, and removing all the parts of the self that are not aligned with the truth that lies within the heart and the spirit. thus, ritual skin and soul was born. being a highly sensitive being emotionally and physically, sensitive to the energies of others as well as sensitive to chemicals and toxins found in products as well as the environment, she took drastic measures to cleanse herself as best as she could and switched over to clean skin care products. she couldn't tolerate working with the chemicals found in medical fgrade products so she searched and researched high and low until she found two beautiful product lines, plant-based, that she couldn't wait to share with other sensitive individuals as well.  in conclusion, candice has found a delightful and unique way to weave together all of her masteries in a way that has created a skin and soul experience unlike any other-that's what all of her clients share. the first ritual skin and soul was opened in 2019 in the redondo beach, riviera village and in may of 2023 she relocated to hermosa beach and brought along her dear facialist friend and ayurvedic practitioner, cynthia conant to partner up and expand upon this vision together. as a wise friend once shared, team work makes the dream work!
